Try Garden Elements Natural and Organic fertilizers at NO COST.  To encourage our customers to try these fine fertilizers, we've made it easy for you: read about them below, print a copy of this website page and present it at our sales counter, sign up for our email notifications of sales and special offers, and get a FREE box with any purchase of $10 or more.  (Limit: one to a household.)

We’re pleased to be able to offer these fine fertilizers.  In addition to Starter, All-Purpose, Rhododendron/Azalea, and Rose & Flower, shown here, the line includes Tomato & Vegetable and Fruit Tree fertilizers as well.  As further explained below, All-Purpose is formulated with a view to general use, while each of the others is formulated for a specific purpose.  They are comprised of all-natural ingredients, meeting the requirements of the USDA's national organics program, and are fortified with mycorrhizal funghi.
A note on “mycorrhiza”: which refers to the symbiotic relationship between plant roots and certain funghi.  It's known to enhance: seedling growth and transplant establishment, plant efficiency in absorbing water and nutrients, resistance to drought and pathogens, and general plant health and vigor.  This is a costly product element, and many organic fertilizers do not offer it. The Garden Elements line is “state of the art” - superior to the best known national organic-product brand, yet more economical.

Don't be fooled by pricing flim-flam!  How much fertilizer you need to use has a huge bearing on the effective cost of the product.  So for example, Garden Elements Rhody/Azalea fertilizer (like the entire Garden Elements line) is priced at $7.50 for a 4 lb box at Conley’s.

Espoma Holly Tone is all over the lot: $7.49 for a 4 lb bag at Skillin’s Greenhouse in Brunswick; $7.99 at Boothbay Region Greenhouse.  They “supersize” you at the box stores, so it’s $9.99 for an 8 lb bag at Walmart and 10.99 at Loew’s in Brunswick.

But don’t stop there – compare: the instructions for Garden Elements Rhody/Azalea fertilizer call or ¼ cup for a typical starter Rhododendron and 2 cups cups for an established plant with a 4 foot spread.

For Holly Tone it's 1 cup per plant for the new Rhody planting and 8 cups (2.67 pounds!) for an established plant with a 4 foot spread.

In other words, with Garden Elements Natural and Organic fertilizers, superior product quality allows you to use far less to get the job done!

Please note: while we're really confident you'll be happy with them, these fine products all come with an Unconditional Guarantee of Satisfaction from both Conley's and Master Nursery Garden Centers.
